Curriculum and Instruction Specialist

Hello, my name is Brandi Lowe. I was raised in a small town down Interstate 16, Soperton, Georgia. I attended college at Middle Georgia State, Georgia Southern University, and finished up with my masters and specialist degrees at Georgia Southwestern. I was a classroom teacher for 14 years. I taught kindergarten for 10 years in Hawkinsville, Georgia where I represented Pulaski County as Teacher of the Year in 2013 and was surprised with the “My Teacher is Tops” award presented by 13wmaz the same year. I taught 1st grade and 3rd grade in Crawford County and moved into an instructional coach position at the high school level. I served in an instructional coach role for 2 years at Crawford County High School and 1 year here in the Butts County School System. I am beginning my 18th year in education and first full year at Jackson High School over Curriculum and Instruction. I have three children all in 11th grade at JHS (yep, triplets!). I am honored for the opportunity to work with the staff and students at Jackson High School!

Welcome and thanks for stopping by my page. I was born in New Jersey and raised in upstate New York where I attended college. I have been a teacher and resident of Jackson and Jenkinsburg, Georgia, since 1996. My entire teaching career has been spent in Butts County, and I am thankful for the opportunity to work with your child this year. I have represented Jackson High School as Teacher of the Year in 2003, Teacher of Butts County in 2015, and Butts County STAR teacher nine times. When I am not teaching, I spend time with my son, Reece, and our four fur family members.
