Mrs. Melissa Redding-Jackson

I'm an Interrelated Special Education Teacher entering my 21st year of teaching in the Butts County School System.  I received my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Child & Family Development from Georgia Southern University.  I also received my Master's and Specialist Degrees in Educational Leadership from Georgia College & State University.  I began my teaching career at Henderson Middle School in 2004 and was recognized as Teacher of the Year for the 2008-09 school year and again at Jackson High School for the 2020-21 school year.  This school year, I'm teaching Resource 9th Grade Literature, Resource 10th Grade Literature, Resource American Literature and Resource 12th Grade Advanced Composition.
