As a proud graduate of Jackson High School, I desired to teach in my hometown.  My husband and I raised our two sons in Jackson; both of them are also graduates of JHS. This is my 26th year teaching and my 19th year at JHS.  In April 2022, I was promoted to the title of Grandmother.  My son and daughter-in-love presented us with a precious baby boy.

Right after graduation from high school, I attended Gordon College. I earned my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Georgia College & State University. I am certified to teach Family and Consumer Science, English, and Special Education.

This is my fourth year teaching Early Childhood Education.
