Mrs. Shelby Lamb

With 28 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, I bring a passion for lifelong learning and a deep commitment to student success. I began my teaching journey in Clayton County, where I spent 11 years—3 at Riverdale Elementary and 8 at McGarrah Elementary. For the past 17 years, I’ve proudly served at Stark Elementary in Butts County.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of teaching a variety of grade levels and roles, including Kindergarten, K/1 Multi-Age, 1st Grade, Augmented EIP Reading and Math for grades K-5. I am now entering my third year as Stark Elementary’s Instructional Coach.

Supporting both teachers and students is the heart of my work. I’m excited to continue collaborating, coaching, and learning alongside our incredible staff to help every student grow and achieve success.

Grow Together, Succeed Together!

A Little About Me
I’ve been married to my husband, Brian, for 25 years. We have two wonderful sons, Jackson (21) and Carson (18), both proud graduates of Jackson High School.

Our family lives on the beautiful Ocmulgee River, where I enjoy kayaking and spending time outdoors. I love making memories with family and friends. During school breaks, there’s a good chance you’ll find me reading a book on the beach.  The beach is one of my favorite vacation destinations, especially along the coasts of Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida Panhandle.
