Hello!  My name is Sonja Ramjohn.  I am beginning my 18th year of teaching.  This is my 1st year teaching PreK.  I graduated from Georgia State University with my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, I received my Master's from Nova Southeastern University, and my Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Valdosta State University.  My husband and I were married for 24 years. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2020.  We have a 25-year-old daughter, who recently got married, and a rescue dog, named Tasha.  We have lived in Jackson for 20 years.  

Ms. Rachael is the assistant teacher in our class.  This is my first year as a parapro. I previously worked for CHOA in the orthopedics department as an ortho tech. I have an associates degree in applied science. I have been married to my husband for 5 years, and we have two beautiful daughters, 9 and 4 years old. We just recently moved to Griffin. I can't wait to get to know all the kiddos in our class this year!
