Greetings Colt Community!

We are so happy you visited. Hampton L. Daughtry is an academically strong school with an equally strong family atmosphere. At Daughtry, we are committed to building success for “Every Colt, Every Day!” I am your proud principal, Mrs. Flanders. This will be my twenty-third year in education. I believe that the elementary years are the key to providing a strong foundation of success for all students. That is why I have devoted my life to children and families. 

Before taking the reins at Daughtry, I worked for the Clarke and Gwinnett County school districts. I earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Georgia in Early Childhood Education, as well as a specialist degree from UGA in Educational Administration and Policy. My family is also involved in the Butts County School System. My husband, Matthew, teaches at Henderson Middle School. We have a sophomore at the United States Military Academy at West Point and a senior at Jackson High School.
