Hello, my name is Sandy Jones, school nurse for Henderson Middle School. After completing the Licensed Practical Nurse program at Southern Crescent Technical College, I began my nursing career in a pediatrician’s office in Griffin, Georgia for three years. I have been a nurse with Butts County Schools for 19 years and it was my great honor to be awarded Georgia’s 2019 LPN School Nurse of the Year by Georgia Association of School Nurses.
My husband, John and I have been married for 33 years and we have two children Amber and Trey, who graduated from Jackson High School. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling with my husband, and spending time with my children.
