Welcome to my class!

My name is Lee Thomas and this is my 14th year teaching and my 4th year at JHS.  I spent 20 years in the business world and the last 13 teaching both US History and Economics.  I have a B.S. degree from Auburn University and an MEd and Ed.S from Columbus State University in Educational Leadership.  I try each day to apply my love of history and real world experience in business into my classroom.  It is my firm belief that as a teacher my obligation is to present information to my students and ask them to develope inquiry based answers where they will form personal opinions and beleifs based on facts rather than emotions.   I look forward to working with each of your students in the coming year.
