Hi! This will be my 23rd year teaching elementary school art. The last 15 years have been right here at JES. My first 7 years were at Upson-Lee South Elementary where I was named Teacher of the Year in 2006. Previously, I worked professionally as a graphic designer for 10 years. I have a BFA in Graphic Design from Missouri State University and Art Education certification from Columbus State University. My wife, Debbie Bell, is the art teacher at JHS. We moved to Jackson in 1999 and our son attended JES, HMS, JHS and Georgia Southern University. Panda Pride! Go Tigers! Go Devils! Hail Southern!

In my spare time I'm very active with my church, where my wife is the middle and high school youth director. We take our youth on a mission trip every summer and have a blast worshipping in other ways throughout the year. We also love to go kayaking, biking and visit art museums. Whenever we get a chance, though, we try to make it to a Georgia Southern football game!
