• Welcome!

It is my pleasure to serve this community as Principal of Jackson Elementary School. I am a proud graduate of Savannah-Chatham Public Schools where I was a student athlete in both volleyball and basketball. I  continued my education at Armstrong Atlantic State University (B.S. in Early Childhood Education), University of Phoenix (M.A. in Curriculum & Instruction), University of West Georgia (School Leadership Certification), and Walden University (Ed.S in School Administration).

My educational career includes experiences as a classroom teacher (K-5), Early Intervention Teacher,  Literacy Instructional Coach, Instructional Personalized Learning Lead, and most recently, Assistant Principal of Jackson Elementary School.

Beyond school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two girls, Tia and Malia, and my sweet fur baby, Bella. I also enjoy reading, puzzles, exercise, and traveling.

I wholeheartedly believe that with intentional practices and a shared commitment to excellence, that we will achieve great things together. As Principal, I am committed to building structures and processes that will have a positive impact on student achievement and growth. It is my goal to work with all stakeholders to improve learning outcomes and promote the well-being of each student.

Success is not possible without each of you! I look forward to partnerships and teamwork as “We Stick Together” and make great things happen for the students at JES!

    With JES…Panda Pride,

    BeLinda Boyd
